Georgia Contractors License Surety Bond - City of Valdosta
The City of Valdosta, GA requires the following contractors to secure and file a Contractors License Bond pursuant to the provisions of the ordinances or code of the said Cityof Valdosta.

- Electrical Contractor
- Low Voltage Contractor
- Mechanical Contractor
- Plumbing Contractor
When a contractor desires to be licensed as a master tradesman in the City of Valdosta, in the one or more of above listed classifications, they must post a $2000 Valdosta Contractors License bond for each classification. The terms of the bond are that all applicable work done or contracted is to be performed by or under the direct supervision of the licensed contractor, within the City of Valdosta, and done so without unreasonable delay and in accordance with the provision of the ordinances and code of the City.
Furthermore they should promptly pay for all labor and materials for which they have obligated themselves for in connection with such work, and they should promptly pay any and all fines and penalties properly imposed upon them for violation any said ordinances or code. If the contractor fails to follow these requirements, the City can make a claim on their bond for the violation.
