California Talent Agency License Bond

Any entity or person acting in the capacity of arranging employment for artists in the entertainment field must be licensed as a California Talent Agency, post and maintain a $50,000 Talent Agency License Bond in accordance with Chapter 4, Part 6, Division 2 of the Labor Code of the State of California.  Applicants will need to contact he CA Dept of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards enforcement to make application to become a licensed talent agency. How Much does a California Talent Agency License Bond cost?

As with many surety bonds, the premium is based upon the personal credit of the agency owners and the risk associated with the surety bond language.  A $50,000.00 CA Talent Agency bond has a base premium of $500.00 on approved credit.
