The State of Utah requires Service Contract Providers to be licensed with the Utah Department of Insurance as a Service Contract Provider if they are providing any of the following service contracts/warranties:
- Home Warranty
- Automobile Warranty/Service Contract
- Consumer Goods Warranty/Service Contract
- Vehicle Protection Warranty
