In accordance with the act known and cited as the Appraisal Management Company Registration Act (PA ST 63 P.S. § 457.25), before offering to act as an Appraisal Management Company (AMC) in the commonwealth of PA licensees must apply to the BOARD for registration in order to act as an Appraisal Management Company.  In order to secure the license, applicants must post and maintain a $40,000 AMC surety bond (the board may request a higher bond for certain applicants) for the use and benefit of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to guarantee complance with the requirements of the act.
