In order to obtain a Maryland Vehicle Dealer License, each applicant must read and complete the MVA Dealer Business Licensing Packet. Each dealer is required to post and maintain a Surety Bond of Vehicle or Trailer Dealer (CS-067A) in an amount equal to the bond requirment, which is based on the number of vehicles you sell or plan to sell annually. (see below) The bond must be in the full name of the dealership, including any trade or fictitious business names you intend to operate under.
